General Information
The purpose of ICITA’2005 is to provide a platform for academics and engineers in all IT areas to meet, exchange ideas, and establish professional networks. It is a forum to focus on specific disciplinary research, as well as on multi-disciplinary studies. The uniqueness of ICITA is that it crosses narrowly defined subject areas and gathers researchers from not only technical areas, but also from social science areas. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following research areas/fields:

Venue and Date
The conference will be held at the Mercure Hotel (City/CBD) in the central area of Olympic City - Sydney, Australia from 4th-7th
July, 2005.

Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit an electronic soft-copy of their draft paper (up to about
6 pages -
double columns, single space, font size of 10 to 12), in Adobe PDF format. Please see Format Instructions for more details. On-line paper submission is available HERE.
The first page should include the title, the name of author(s), affiliation, mailing address, fax number, e-mail address and areas.

Publications
Submitted papers will be fully refereed by at least two reviewers. Accepted papers will be published at the conference proceedings published by IEEE Computer Society. All accepted papers will be indexed by IEEE Xplore. Accepted papers may blso be selected for journal publication.

Proposals for Conference Sessions and Tutorials
The conference is calling for people to create and organize conference sessions and tutorials.
Proposals for conference sessions and tutorials should include the following information:
1. Name, position and contact information of proposer,
2. Name of session or tutorial, and
3. A short description of the session or tutorial.
Each session is expected to have minimum 6 papers for presentation. Proposals should be submitted by email to: icita05@it.uts.edu.au no later than 13th December, 2004.
