IEEE CIT2008 Author Instructions

The following instructions are for Camera-Ready submissions to IEEE CIT2008 MAIN CONFERENCE ONLY. Instruction for Formatting Final Camera Ready Papers

Authors must follow STRICTLY to IEEE CS templates for editing the Final Camera Ready Papers. We'd suggest that authors should copy and paste paper content into given templates from IEEE CS. We will use standard IEEE CS Letter 2-column format.

The templates can be downloaded at http://www.computer.org/portal/pages/cscps/cps/cps_forms.html.

Please note that:

IEEE CS only provides a US-LETTER size template. Therefore papers should be submitted using US-LETTER size PDF files. For papers submitted in A4, the result will be poor (eg uneven margins).
Please DO NOT use the old CS templates because there may be some variation in format among the papers.

PDF eXpress Online File Conversion/PDF Validation Tool (available on 29 Mar. 2008)

PDF files (US Letter Size, 8.5" x 11") to be submitted must be the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF files. IF you have any difficulty when creating PDF files or you are not sure about the format of your PDF files, you are strongly suggested to use PDF eXpress on-line tool which may assist you to check your own PDF files for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF validation function) or to convert the papers into IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF files (conversion function).

Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at http://216.228.1.34/pdfexpress/log.asp. If you use this tool for the first time, Click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID which is: cit08x

Note: IEEE PDF eXpress is not a file collection site but is an on-line PDF validation/conversion tool only. After you create the final version PDF file, you still need to submit your file to our CIT2008 MAIN conference paper submission system (see the next section below for more details).

~~Uploading Final Camera Ready Paper~~ (CLOSED)

When the Final Camera Ready Papers have been correctly formatted using the above templates. They can be Uploaded to Our Server. This interface is ONLY for MAIN conference Camera-Ready submissions. For the papers accepted by CIT2008 WORKSHOPS, authors must send the papers to IEEE CS directly based on instructions provided by IEEE CS Press.

We only receive the copyright forms by FAX or SCANNED COPY. Please fax the copyright forms to +61-2-9514 4535 (Attention: CIT2008). You may also email a scanned copy of the copyright forms to Dr. Wenjing Jia at wejia@it.uts.edu.au.
